Why I Sell Real Estate - My Story:
The framework of my life was built in a modest single family home that was crowded with six siblings, a single mother and the handful of kids in my mom’s in-home daycare.
At an early age I developed a desire to ensure hard working people, like my mom, had a place to call their own. A place to lie their heads when exhausted from a long day of work. A warm place to welcome and entertain friends. A place to share moments with loved ones or enjoy some privacy. This desire inspired me to pursue a career in real estate.
Growing up life wasn’t luxurious. It was real. It was scraping by, dealing with huge responsibilities and making the most of what you had. My mom, born and raised in Glen Burnie, made her living running a daycare and selling hand painted kettles and mailboxes at weekend craft shows. She was our provider, and there were plenty of mouths to feed.
Safeguarding and monitoring all of us wasn’t the easiest task. Mom did her best, giving whatever she could and working constantly. She, somehow, always remained positive and welcoming. With an open door policy, she would greet everyone who came into our home with a smile and looseness that made them feel at home.
Her sacrifice and good nature were a blessing. She taught me to work hard, show generosity and most importantly to endure in the face of adversity.
Even with all of her effort it was impossible to provide all the guidance we needed. She did the best she could, providing input whenever able, but she was always spread as thin as her resources. That meant it was often up to us to fend for ourselves, figure things out and make decisions impacting our well being.
I made plenty of mistakes. But I found a way to learn from those missteps. I didn’t let failures limit my ambition. Those errors strengthened my resolve, emboldened me to reach my goals and taught me to do things the right way.
Through my experiences I learned to take calculated risks, be self sufficient and stay positive. Because of these life lessons the world’s possibilities opened up. When I saw opportunity I took advantage.
On the solid foundation laid by my mother I started building a future. Despite obstacles I kept going, kept building. In the end I built a framework reinforced by lessons often learned the hard way. Little by little I laid the foundation for a road to success.
At 25 I earned my real estate license, launched my career as an agent and purchased my first home. I didn’t stop there. I knew these were merely stepping stones toward achieving my goals.
In 2007 I met my rock, Erica. We married in 2010, and our dreams and goals became one and the same. She has been the most understanding and supportive teammate a man could ask for. She understands my mission, my passions and has given herself wholeheartedly to the pursuit of our ambitions.
In February 2017 we settled and moved into a beautiful, newly constructed home in Pasadena. It truly is our dream home. It’s everything we ever wanted in a house. But more than that it’s a base for our family to grow. It’s an extraordinary reminder of all the effort and sacrifice required.
My family and I achieved a major dream. Accomplishing that goal is an incredible feeling. A feeling that I want to help everyone to experience. With the help of my irreplaceable business partner, Dan Alvarez, I want to help you buy your dream home through my framework to homeownership.
The American dream is alive and well for anyone who wants it and I’d love to show you the way home.

" Ecstatic to officially say we are homeowners !! Big thank you to our outstanding realtor @jimmyrupert_realtor for his attentiveness, efficiency and hospitality throughout this process. Prior to working with Jimmy, starting in November 2015 we worked with two other realtors who were absolutely awful, in January we made the switch to Jimmy and within 6 weeks we had an offer submitted and accepted, closing came just 7 weeks later!!! Not once did he try and change or mind like our past realtors and he was always in contact with us, always available to reach and always ahead of the game and prompt. I can't thank Jimmy and his team at Execuhome realty enough for such a smooth and stress free experience !! We are so happy !!
